8.8 Building Solutions Pty Ltd is a Sydney-based carpentry and fitout business serving commercial and residential clients across Sydney and the Illawarra.
Our commercial work covers fitout for retail, hospitality, office and institutional clients, including projects delivered in live trading environments and heritage buildings. Our residential work covers decks, balconies, balustrades, timber screens, bathrooms, renovations and extensions.
Recent projects include a retail kiosk fitout in an operating railway concourse, an office fitout within a heritage building, a church sanctuary floor and altar joinery, a waterfront hardwood deck with a frameless glass balustrade, and a residential extension completed from roof framing through to finish.
Every project shown on this website was completed by us. Enquiries are handled directly by Peter Orton, who remains your point of contact from the initial site visit through to handover.
How we work
Every quote is issued as a written scope with materials specified, so it can be compared against other quotes on equal terms. Where council approval applies, we confirm the pathway before the work is committed.
On site, trades are sequenced to avoid rework, and the site is left safe and tidy at the end of each day. On commercial projects this includes staging works around trading hours and public access where required.
